JK Findings is a Rochester, NY based manufacturer and wholesaler of precious metal components for the jewelry industry. JK Findings is committed to protecting company assets and its employees.

We are currently seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to enhance our security & safety operations. This position requires a commitment of 30-35 hours per week and it does include an occasional Saturday.

The overall responsibility of this position is to protect company assets and property through day-to-day tasks that include:

• Guarding, patrolling, and monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Monitoring entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Constant monitoring of live camera feeds and review of digital recordings as necessary.
• Responding to emergency situations
• Continual review of security procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Continual review of security equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Inspecting and adjusting security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• Supervision and management of security team.
• Record day's events in log.
• Administer daily oversight and enforcement of the company's Safety Program.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the Security/Law enforcement field.
• Commitment to protection and efficiency
• Availability between the hours of 5:20 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. M-F and an occasional Saturday is required (6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)
• Proficient computer skills. (Create and update documents in excel and word, read, compose and reply to emails.)
• Valid NYS Armed Guard card is required.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent decision making skills
