Looking for an experienced individual to help motivate and guide clients to train effectively and safely towards their fitness goals. Must have a current nationally recognized fitness certification in Personal Training or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Creates personalized workout routines to improve muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular health.
• Counsels and educates clients on diet, nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle changes to complement their fitness goals.
• Sets fitness goals, conducts fitness assessments, and monitors their clients’ progress.
• Instructs clients on how to use gym equipment properly.
• Demonstrates proper exercise technique as well as gives clients appropriate exercise cues.
• Strategically adjusts clients' programs to help them continue to progress.
• Explains exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed.
• Signs up new and existing clients.
• Enforces all gym policies and safety rules to reduce the chance of any accidents and to maintain a safe and comfortable environment in which clients can exercise.
• Schedules clients, monitors agreement status, and takes payments if needed.
• Follows up with prospective clients and reccomends personal training packages that will complement their needs and goals.
• Continues education by researching health fitness topics and trends.
