AO Teams is excited to announce a career opportunity for a strategic and dynamic individual to join our team as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This role is designed for a leader who is adept at driving significant revenue growth and managing comprehensive sales strategies in a competitive landscape. As CRO, you will assume full responsibility for all sales, partnerships, and marketing functions within the organization, with a direct accountability for achieving ambitious revenue targets.

This full-time position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, enabling you to work from any location that provides you the environment needed to be effective and successful. You will be reporting directly to the CEO and will play a critical role in steering the company towards its financial goals through innovative client delivery strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly manage roles including Sales Manager, Account Executives (AEs), Sales Development Reps (SDR), Partnerships Manager, and Marketing Strategist.
  • Lead and drive both outbound and inbound acquisition campaigns to enhance pipeline growth and capture market share.
  • Ensure cohesive sales and marketing execution aligning with HubSpot for reporting and pipeline target adjustments.
  • Maintain rigorous discipline in pricing strategies and implement effective client retention techniques.
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and channel alliances, focusing on high-return relationships and robust market penetration.
  • Oversee comprehensive campaign strategies across digital and traditional platforms to maximize reach and impact.
  • Regularly assess and manage team performance to ensure that all sales and marketing objectives are met and that staff are fully supported in achieving their goals.
  • Safeguard optimal customer acquisition costs and lifetime value metrics to maintain a healthy and sustainable business model.
  • Act as the de facto Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), shaping and leading the brand’s strategic vision in alignment with overarching company goals.
  • Implement KPIs that track performance metrics and operational efficiency to gauge success and areas for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in sales, preferably within the SaaS, BPO, or outsourcing industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale company revenue from less than $5 million to over $10 million ARR, employing effective pipelines, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in building and executing co-sell motions with over 50 partnerships and channel alliances in sectors such as FinTech and professional services, generating significant ARR.
  • Proven track record in leading sales and marketing teams across diverse geographical locations including the US, Latin America, Philippines, and India; capable of handling team expansions and ensuring high productivity metrics.
  • Expertise in managing multi-channel advertising budgets exceeding $1 million per year, maintaining strict ROI, CAC/LTV guidelines, and full-funnel pipeline attribution.
  • Strong strategic proficiency in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that have consistently resulted in increased pipeline coverage, lead growth, and revenue uplifts.
  • Professional certifications in HubSpot Sales and Marketing highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in tools such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Orum, and RingCentral necessary for effective job performance.
