Role: Data Scientist
Location: Remote
Contract: W2 Only (No chance of C2C)
6+ Years experience will work for this role
This person would be helping to support an expanding scope of work involving GenAI and contract intelligence. This falls into the PBM underwriting group.
Focus: Core data science (not data engineering or MLOps) they do not want someone who gives off a lot of ML engineering they want more core data science.
Key Responsibilities
Apply traditional machine learning (e.g., decision trees, forecasting)
Work with GenAI to extract insights from contract documents
Use Python extensively for data processing and modeling
Collaborate and communicate effectively on nuanced, domain-specific language
Required Skills
-Strong Python/ Pandas
-SQL (dont need to be as strong here)
-Gen AI (prompt engineering experience is a plus)
-ML
-Statistical experience
-Core data science skills (random trees, forecasting, etc.)
