Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Hourly Pay: $38.03 Per Hour
Hours Per Week: 30 - 50 hours per week
Guaranteed Weekly Pay
Per Diem Pay: $45.00 per night
Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
Paid Training
Schedule: 5 - 7 day work week
Start Time: AM with some PM events

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
Must be Computer Savvy with Inventory Skills Preferred
Must have Customer Service Experience & Experience working with children under the age of 12
Will be setting up booth for Dental Screening Events, Computer Meetings, Registration for the events
Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

The starting salary for this position is $54,000. Employees may also be eligible for a Shift Differential

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment:
9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Other tasks as assigned
