Job Posting Title: Forklift Driver Time Type: Full TimeRole Summary: Responsible for pulling orders, prepping for outbound shipment, loading and unloading freight accurately, inspection and other warehouse related duties. Ensure all products are accurately pulled and over-packed correctly to customer expectations.
Principal Responsibilities:
(The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
* Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc.
* Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
* Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity
* Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork
* Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments
* Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment
* Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock
* Keeping shipping supplies organized and communication on supply needs
* Daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift
* Complete other duties or tasks as assigned
