ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Artesia, New Mexico.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Weekend schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• No floating requirements
\n• Must have 3 years of Med Surg-Telemetry experience required
\n• Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown experience preferred
\n• First time travelers accepted
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry using Mindray cardiac monitors
\n• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:3-5
\n• May be called to work in PCU within department depending on competency
\n• Occasionally required to titrate drips including insulin, amiodarone, and levofed
\n• Must complete pre-work modules taking approximately 20 hours (up to 6 hours billable)
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
\n• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
\n• Charting system: CPSI
\n• Work with medical/surgical/PCU patients
\n• Perform AccuChecks and manage various drip protocols
\n• BSN not required
\n• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment

\nThis 26-bed acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with progressive care capabilities. The facility features in-house respiratory therapy available 24/7, modern telemetry monitoring systems, and is currently working toward achieving Level IV hospital designation. The organization offers more advanced capabilities than typically expected for a smaller hospital, including PCU services and various specialized treatment protocols.
