Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role within a 24/7 operational environment. Candidates must be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. This position plays a critical role in supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks. *This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role* Key Responsibilities: Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research.
Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods.
Monitor network performance using specialized tools; escalate issues as needed.
Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy.
Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $55,000 – $65,500, based on experience.
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and sick leave (as required by law). This position will start accepting applicants on 10/13/2025 and will remain open for 30 days
