If you’re a natural communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves process, and brings positivity to the workplace, we’d love to meet you.

This role directly supports families at meaningful moments in their lives, while keeping our internal operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee a small but mighty team, champion accuracy and compliance, and help create a warm, professional environment for both associates and the families we serve.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Support

  • Foster a collaborative, engaged, high-performance culture
  • Train staff on processes, procedures, compliance, and systems

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compassionate service
  • Coordinate processing of accounting and administrative functions (billing, collections, invoices, petty cash)
  • Assign and oversee order processing, and manage storage and inventory controls
  • Review timecards and administer payroll policies
  • Maintain vehicle records, licenses, alarm system codes, and general office compliance
  • Prepare customer statements and monthly KPI reports

Compliance & HR Support

  • Manage local HR processes, onboarding documentation, and personnel support
  • Ensure all records, documents, and processes meet SOX compliance standards
  • Conduct periodic SOX audits and support associates with documentation
  • Monitor document retention policies and oversee secure disposal of expired documents

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with funeral directors, family service counselors, sales teams, and vendors
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers as needed
  • Maintain updated General Price Lists and approve contracts within guidelines

What You Bring

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional college or technical training preferred

Experience

  • 2+ years in administrative or office management with a strong customer service focus
  • 2+ years bookkeeping, accounting support, or A/P experience
  • Experience with MS Office, project management software, and database systems

Skills & Strengths

  • High degree of professionalism, empathy, and emotional maturity
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to remain calm, compassionate, and solution-oriented in sensitive situations
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A supportive, mission-driven team
  • Meaningful work where your efforts directly support families
  • Growth opportunities within a large, established organization
  • A workplace culture built on integrity, compassion, and service excellence
Company Description

Skyline is more than a workplace—it’s a team of people who genuinely care about the families we serve and about each other. We’re a busy, high-performing location with high standards, but we balance that with humor, teamwork, and a lot of mutual support. Every day is different here, and every role truly matters.

We take pride in doing things the right way: with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. When you join Skyline, you join a group of people who show up for one another, jump in when help is needed, and celebrate the wins—big and small.

If you’re looking for meaningful work, a close-knit team, and a place where your efforts have a real impact, you’ll feel right at home here.
