Position: Pediatric ECMO Specialist - Registered Nurse (Nights)

Location: Houston, TX

Salary range-$90,000-$140,000

Vendor fee -5%

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care to pediatric patients requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) support.
• Monitor and manage ECMO circuits, patient hemodynamics, and support devices in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform assessments, interventions, and troubleshooting of ECMO-related equipment.
• Ensure safe and high-quality patient care in accordance with Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
• Educate and support patients' families regarding ECMO care and procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects as required.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff in ECMO care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; active RN license in the State of Texas.
• Experience: Critical Care or Pediatric ICU experience required; ECMO experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; ECMO training or willingness to train on ECMO devices.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced critical care environment.
