Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, and dependable, Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring the accuracy and organization of financial records for our clients, helping them maintain clarity and confidence in their financial standing. You’ll collaborate with a team committed to excellence and innovation, contributing to a workplace where your efforts truly make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with QuickBooks, payroll, and general accounting questions
• Process after-the-fact payroll and prepare related reports
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Prepare sales tax returns
• Prepare business and individual income tax returns
• Create monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

What You Bring

• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook (required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Works well independently and within a team
• Strong follow-up and accountability skills
• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
• Experience working in a CPA firm (preferred)
• Comfortable in a paperless work environment
