Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in an LDRP unit, requiring a MA RN license and NRP certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital LDRP unit caring for labor, high-risk, and post-partum patients
• Unit includes Pod C (labor) with 16 beds, Pod B (high risk) with 11 beds, and Pod A (post-partum) with 11 beds
• Handles approximately 4,300 deliveries per year and provides care for cesarean sections in a 3-room OR
• Teaching hospital setting with residents and attendings present
• Night shifts (1900-0730), with every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday night)
• One on-call shift required every 6 weeks
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for laboring, high-risk, and post-partum patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment
• Three 12-hour shifts per week required

• Active MA RN license required
• Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and CPR
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience preferred
• High-risk labor and delivery experience preferred
