American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and strong customer service skills to work in an oncology-focused outpatient center.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Outpatient infusion center specializing in oncology, mainly breast cancer patients
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No call, weekends, or float required
  • Department uses EPIC documentation system
  • Work with Hologic and Trophon equipment
  • Collaborate with two other mammography technologists and a lead ultrasound technologist
  • 16 hours of unit orientation provided
  • Main responsibilities include performing mammograms and assisting with diagnostic and interventional breast procedures
  • Team-oriented environment with support from experienced technologists and lead staff
  • Oncology-based center requires a high level of patient care and customer service
  • Grey, Caribbean Blue, or Navy Blue scrubs required
  • First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
\n \n Requirements\n
  • Minimum of 2 years recent mammography technologist experience required; 5+ years preferred
  • First-time travelers considered with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • State license, BLS, and MQSA certification required (license required if applicable)
  • 3-D Mammography, diagnostic and digital mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, stereotactic biopsy experience required
  • Experience with Hologic and Trophon required
  • ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with Siemens machines, digital quality assurance, breast ultrasound, and Dexa preferred
  • Exceptional adaptability and change management skills necessary
  • Comfort with ambiguity and dynamic work environments is a plus
