First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Park Rapids, Minnesota.

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (8*5) every 3-4 weekends + holiday rotation

 

Requirements:

2+ yrs. of exp.
RN MN License Required.

BLS Required.

EPIC Required.

 

Description:

Unit Hospice 
Required Certifications MN licensure required. 

Hospice certification preferred but not necessary Common diagnosis / Types of patients/patient demographics Rare peds patients. 

Mostly geriatrics. 
CA, HF, Dementia dx. Additional Job Duties/Utilization Review involved? none 

RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) no vents, occas CPAP Experience or 

 

'Must have' skills 

Wound care, foley insertion, pain management How many patients do they see per day? 4-5 visits/ day dependant on visit type (SOC vs, revisit) Manager/Supervisor 24 hour availability. 

Also have access to an administrator on call. 

Home Health/Hospice Aids? Yes, supervision tasks required. 

Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Self scheduling with oversight. Day shift. 

Weekend Requirements yes. rotating with employees. 

one in 3-4 weekends. 

Holiday Requirements yes. 

rotating with employees. 

Is there a call or standby requirement? Yes, rotating with employees every 3-4 nights. 

Floating Requirements only hospice Scrub Color/Dress Code scrubs

Unit/Department specific orientation Special contractor orientation provided.

Additional Notes Hospice experience preferred. 

Will consider home health experience.
