\n- Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse – Night Shift
\n- Start Date: Open
\n- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
\n- Schedule: Every other weekend required
\n- Certifications Required:
\n- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
\n- BLS (Basic Life Support)
\n- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
\n- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
\n- Clinical Skills Required:
\n- General and Non-Trauma Emergency Department (Adult/Pediatric)
\n- Pediatric Emergency Department
\n- Experience in STEMI and Stroke Certified facilities
\n- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
\n- Arterial line and central line care/management
\n- Blood product administration
\n- Phlebotomy and IV insertion
\n- Continuous IV and procedural sedation; IV vasopressors
\n- CVA, ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury
\n- Ortho-trauma, head injury, TBI, near drowning
\n- CPAP/BiPAP management
\n- ABG interpretation
\n- Management of gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations
\n- Isolation precautions and triage
\n- Other Requirements:
\n- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application
\n- No RTO allowed during first two weeks; max 3 days RTO during contract
\n- Must be willing to work holidays
\n- Submitted RTO cannot be changed except to cancel requested time
\n- 13-week contract
